One of the main aims of Norwich Games Festival is to inspire young people and showcase courses and opportunities available within the UK games industry.

The Norwich Games Festival Learning Week ran from 26 February – 2 March 2018.


NUA Taster Sessions

Students visited Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) to find out more about their BA (Hons) Games Art and Design and BSc Games Development courses. They also made  cool, retro-styled arcade games in 2 hours only using JavaScript and HTML!

BAFTA Young Game Designers

BAFTA Young Game Designers (YGD) is a free initiative and competition that inspires young people to create, develop and present their new game ideas to the world.

The BAFTA YGD team went out to schools and colleges giving an insight into the world of game-making and a chance to meet game developers working in the UK industry.
